Fitness is a way of life for passionate Personal Trainer Bianca, Owner of Blue Sky Fitness (@blueskyfitness).  She “practices what she preaches”, and understands the challenges and joys of being a mother to her young son.  “Training has been an integral part of who I am as a woman and mother and how I feel about myself! My mission is to share this journey with as many clients as possible!”

I had the pleasure of photographing Bianca’s gorgeous Bayside apartment, expertly styled by Interior Decorator & Stylist, Kristel at Joy Design Co (@joy.designco).

The brief was clear – a Scandified space, strictly monochrome and STRONG.  Kristel incorporated a rich textural element to give warmth and depth to the small living space, and added contrasting metallics for a luxe feel.

Master Bedroom. The beachside location called for a crisp, white foundation to highlight the incredible light which filters through the plantation shutters. Adding in natural elements with lighting balances the space and Bianca’s art gives the room an injection of vibrant colour.  Kristel used muted versions of teal on the bed in velvet for richness and a beautiful faux fur throw for texture.

A pop of colour | Coastal blue tones brought in to one side of Bianca’s living room brings a continuity to the apartment; vitally important in a small space. The same hues in different rooms make the space feel connected. In this case the colour choice is a soothing blue palette; a nod to the apartment’s beachside locale and complimenting similar blue tones in the master bedroom.
